These epic tales from the Indian tradition have been told and retold for millennia, guiding practitioners through the twisting landscape of life and sādhana. With the multi-layers of myths, we can navigate the complex emotions and challenges of our times, using these teachings as keys to understanding ourselves and the world around us.

*Shivaratri is traditionally observed on the evening of the 14th lunar day (Chaturdashi) of the waning moon, leading into the new moon. Due to time zone differences, the date of Shivaratri can vary depending on where you are located. For those in New York City and eastward into Europe, Shivaratri will fall on the evening of February 26th. However, for those west of New York City to the West Coast, Shivaratri will align with the evening of February 25th.
To accommodate this variation and provide space for practice, our session will be held on February 26th.
Whether you are concluding or beginning your Mahāśivarātri practice, join Maa on the 26th for stories, meditation and sangha.
